After the success of the first three evenings, al Sanremo Festival 2024 it’s time for the evening dedicated to duets and covers. With a medley that takes us back to the past, to the tune of the film Grease and The night flies, Lorella Cuccarini bet everything on one Dolce&Gabbana archive dress: and iconic corset dress, in silk and with laces, part of the Spring Summer 2003 collection. “For the opening number I chose to pay homage to two great personalities: Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana. And here is the second dress chosen by the co-hostor as Amadeus reiterates “the work of art”, is one creation of Gianfranco Ferré din the Autumn Winter 2000 collection. “A great traveling companion who has marked the panorama of our Made in Italy in an indispensable and irreversible way: a friend and, certainly, a genius. The third archive item of the evening brings a genius and champion of fashion to the stage of Italian music: Gianni Versace. “My homage goes to Gianni Versace, with one of his archive dresses from one of the collections that left the most room for judgements, comments and amazement: we are talking about the “Miss S&M” couture collection, later called “Bondage”, from the autumn /winter 1992”, with these words of esteem and affection the co-host remembers the inimitable Gianni Versace and his immense creative heritage. L’vintage dresspart of the collection Autumn Winter 1992, is in fact the celebration of a sensual, glamorous and lively aesthetic that fully embodies the Versace heritage. Dedicated to the celebration of art and beauty, the black midi dress, with laces and golden buttons with the symbol of the medusa, recalls the looks of the iconic supermodels of the Eighties and Nineties.
