Unless there are sensational surprises, the event will also open to the South American national teams, who will thus compete with the European ones. It was to announce it Zbigniew Boniek during an interview with the Polish portal meczyki.pl: “The next will be the last Nations League with the current format. We had a meeting with Conmebol – the words of the vice president of Uefa – and from 2024 the South American teams will join the tournament “.
First approach
Regarding the tournament formula, the former Juventus and Roma player added: “We are working on it. The international calendar is restricted, so there is not too much room for maneuver.” But how will the South Americans access the demonstration?
