On 30 December in Piedmont, day of vaccines on the snow

by admin

In Sestriere, Prato Nevoso and Alagna on December 30th it will be possible to take the opportunity of a day on the snow to receive the vaccine at high altitude. The possibility of direct access is offered for the first dose of vaccine against covid and the possibility of a third dose for those who already have an appointment scheduled that same day in a local hub. Those over 12 who have a health domicile in Piedmont can access the initiative.

The initiative will be carried out in collaboration with the Municipalities and local health authorities (Asl TO3, Asl CN1, Asl Vercelli) and the ski resort managers.

Vaccinations will take place from 9.30 to 15. In Sestriere in Piazzale Fraiteve and in Alagna at the Municipality’s vaccination hub in Piazza Rolandi, while in Prato Nevoso it will be possible to receive the vaccine in the tensile structures made available by the Civil Protection, in collaboration with the Croce Rossa, in via Corona Boreale 1. Here too it will be possible to have direct access or by booking on the Prato Nevoso Ski website.

“A way to get closer to the New Year by continuing to raise awareness among all citizens on the importance of the vaccine – underline the president of the Piedmont Region Alberto Cirio, the councilor for health Luigi Genesio Icardi and the vice president and councilor for the Mountain Fabio Carosso, together with the councilor to Turismo Vittoria Poggio and to Sport Fabrizio Ricca -. We hope that for those who have not yet taken the first dose it will be an opportunity, an incentive to receive it, and for those who already have an appointment that day for the third dose a way to receive vaccine protection without giving up a day on our splendid mountains ».
