Piacenza, 22 August 2021 – A boy from 17 years struggle between life and death after a flight of about 15 meters in an escarpment on the Trebbia torrent. The young man from Piacenza is hospitalized in very serious conditions at the Maggiore hospital in Parma. The accident occurred at 5 am when the boy was walking with a small group of friends along the highway 45 that runs along the river, at the gates of Bobbio (Piacenza).
For reasons still under investigation by the carabinieri, the 17-year-old fell on the river bed, banging violently against the stones. The friends immediately gave the alarm to 118, the Bobbio ambulance, the team of the Alpine Rescue and Speleological station M.te Alfeo and the helicopter 118 of Brescia equipped with a winch with a Cnsas technician on board arrive.
Rescuers immediately became aware of the difficulties in reaching the wounded man who fell in an inaccessible area. Thanks to the helicopter, the sanitary staff they were lowered with the winch, and they immediately stabilized the young man, who then was transported in code red to the hospital.
