We know the date of the 16th edition of the Ronde del Canavese rally, Livio Bausano memorial: it will take place on the weekend of 19 and 20 February, with the organization of the Rt Motorevent sports club. Will be involved: Rivarolo Canavese, where the start and finish are located, Cuorgnè with the service park as well as the special stage in Pratiglione.

The proven program of the event is confirmed, with the special stage in Pratiglione, which will be repeated on Sunday four times. The very demanding time trial stretch is eleven kilometers long, with the start and finish remaining unchanged from previous editions.

There will be spectacular reversals of Rivara and Pratiglione, the stretch of the hundred curves and the very famous narrow and fast ups and downs with the bump under the town hall of Pratiglione and the end of the test, just after the bump in the Carella hamlet. Crew registrations will open on Thursday 20 January to close on Wednesday 7 February.

The rally winner will be given the Livio Bausano memorial while the Gino Bellan memorial will be assigned to the first Canavese crew. Last year it was won by Gianluca Tavelli from Castellamonte with co-driver Nicolò Cottellero from Cuorgnè on a Peugeot 208 rally, who finished twentieth overall.

The program foresees, for Saturday 19 February, the technical checks. In the afternoon there will be the reconnaissance of the route with the three passages with the road closed to traffic and in the evening the usual catwalk for the presentation of the crews in the square of the Urban Center of Rivarolo, in corso Indipendenza. On Sunday 20 the first competitor will start from the Rivarolo Urban Center in corso Indipendenza at 8.01 am. Return in the late afternoon, to follow the awards ceremony.

In the 2021 edition, success of the Veneto crew from Treviso made up of: Marco Signor with Francesco Pezzoli with the Volkswagen Polo R5. From this edition there will be a prize for those who lower the record, compared to the previous edition, in the timed trial. –
