In the second leg of the quarter-finals on Thursday, no fans of Swiss runners-up FC Basel are allowed to travel to meet OGC Nice. The French Interior Ministry order released on Wednesday said there was a real and serious risk of clashes between fans of both teams. Basel is outraged by this decision. In the past few weeks there has been a lot of excitement about fan bans in the European Cup.
