Macron, a leading brand in the sportswear sector, closes the 2023 financial year with a consolidated turnover of €196.6 million which marks an increase of 15.7% compared to the previous year (€170 million in 2022).

A double-digit growth path, which characterizes all three main business lines: Teamwear recorded an increase of 21% compared to 2022, Pro Clubs grew by 11% and Individual lines by 23%.

With a pro forma EBITDA of €33.8 million (€21.9 million in 2022), representing 17.2% of turnover, Macron demonstrates solid economic performance and sustainable growth.

Macron’s first market is confirmed as the United Kingdom, followed by Italy and Spain, but growth has been substantially homogeneous in all the countries in which the brand operates. This confirms the international vision and the multi-country strategy, with over 80% of the turnover achieved outside Italy.

Success is fueled by innovative design, product quality and a distribution strategy focused on the single-brand network. The Macron Sports Hubs, which today number over 170 spread across more than 30 countries, are not just points of sale but true ambassadors of the values ​​and uniqueness of the brand.

In the Pro Clubs sector, Macron is positioned among the top three brands in the UEFA ranking for technical sponsorships, with the Macron Hero standing out on the shirts of over 90 professional clubs. In rugby, Macron confirms itself as the world‘s leading brand: in the last World Cup, 7 out of 20 national teams wore Macron, as did three out of six national teams (Italy, Scotland and Wales) in the Guinness Six Nations.

The beginning of 2024 marked a further milestone, with the opening of the American headquarters and distribution center in Connecticut.
