The Feltre ski club celebrated the meeting for the renewal of social offices, summing up a particular season, marked by the limitations related to the pandemic, which was nevertheless carried out very well on a competitive level, also thanks to the snow of Mount Avena.

«This strange season that has just ended is still well impressed in the eyes of all the athletes of the Feltre Ski Club», the association underlines, «a season that saw the competitive teams of the city association train on their home snow. The slopes of Mount Avena were found to be perfectly prepared thanks to the precise and passionate work of the Croce d’Aune Sviluppo srl plant company and the Gorza family ».

This is why last weekend, during the assembly for the renewal of offices, the outgoing president Cesare Reghin, on behalf of athletes, managers, parents and supporters, handed Antonella Gorza the painting created by the artist Fabio Vettori who he made his famous ants ski with the colors of the sports association on the slopes in front of the chalet “le Buse”.

The Feltre ski club gathers, in its competitive teams, about 60 boys from 5/6 years of pre-starting, passing from the categories starter, race chicks, babies – puppies, boys – students and young people. A dozen very active master athletes are also part of the team. If there had not been the pandemic, then, there would have also been traditional initiatives such as the Christmas course and the specialization course usually involving another forty or so children.
