Xi’an News Network News Summer passion, table tennis flying. The 2022 Shaanxi “Table Tennis Association Cup” Children’s Table Tennis League kicked off shooting at the Zhumeng Sports Center in Xinmao Plaza, Lantian City, Xi’an. More than 400 players from all over the province participated.
This competition is guided by the Youth Division of Shaanxi Provincial Sports Bureau, hosted by Shaanxi Provincial Table Tennis Association, Lantian County Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, and undertaken by Lu Xuan Guoqiu Club. The contestants come from table tennis associations and sports schools at all levels across the province. , clubs, schools, training institutions.
The competition lasts for 4 days. The competition items are men’s and women’s singles. They are divided into 12-year-old group, 11-year-old group, 10-year-old group, 9-year-old group, 8-year-old group and 7-year-old group according to age. The competition is divided into two stages, the first stage is a group round robin, and the second stage is a knockout round until all rankings are generated. Among them, the first stage of the game adopts the 11-point system of three wins and two wins, and the second stage adopts the five-game three-win 11-point system.
The purpose of holding this competition is to better implement the “National Fitness Regulations”, mobilize the enthusiasm of the majority of young table tennis enthusiasts in our province to participate in fitness sports, improve the competitive level of children’s table tennis in our province, and build high-quality table tennis. A platform for training and competitions to help young players show themselves, realize their dreams, and strengthen the construction of the reserve talent echelon for table tennis projects in our province.
