Despite the hot summer days, which would suggest the search for refreshment, we can let the film warm our hearts ‘The Kissing Booth 3’, third and final chapter of the successful romantic saga played by Joey King, Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi. It is streaming on Netflix on Wednesday August 11 and therefore the time has come to understand what we are facing.

The plot restarts where chapter two left off: we find the protagonist Elle facing a difficult choice, whether that is to go to Harvard University and in doing so be closer to her boyfriend Noah, or to choose to go to Berkeley in order not to get away from his best friend Lee. Either way, one of the two boys will be disappointed. Before making her decision, however, Elle intends to enjoy the summer in the most carefree way possible, taking advantage of it to complete an old wish list that years ago she had compiled with her childhood friend Lee.
‘The Kissing Booth 3’ confirms the team that brought the first two chapters of the saga to success, so much appreciated by Netflix users as to convince producers to shoot the second and third films at the same time: a solution that helps to contain costs, but which is only possible if there is great confidence in the overall project. Thus the main components of the cast return, first of all the aforementioned Joey King, Joel Courtney and Jacob Elordi, but also Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers and Meganne Young. And the director and screenwriter also returns Marcello wins, who wrote and directed the entire saga and was joined in writing by Jay Arnold, as happened with the second film of the trilogy. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that Marcello and Arnold took their cue from Beth Reekles’ romantic books.
