The spaceships traveling to Earth, the aliens who replace humans and are also aided by human accomplices in their invasion, the sense of terror that pervades everything, the thumping music: there are many points of contact between Liu’s work and this serial from 40 years ago. That can’t be found in streaming (but on DVD yes) and on IMDb it is rated 7.3.
