What is normal
I bought a new pair of large headphones because the old one left me deaf in one ear after a bad fall. So for months I’ve only been supplied with the cheap plugs and am therefore helpless not only to the rather tinny sound, but also to the ambient noise. It is the second headphone that you can set up the sound of using an app. I’m not really in favor of apps for every little thing, because I always suspect that it won’t work in five years because the app is no longer updated or is no longer compatible with new phones or something else not so sustainable . But no one listens to me (maybe because everyone else has headphones on or some other half-witted joke here).
The equalizer in the app is practical here and now, with various sound profiles at the touch of a button and so on. Very practical too: finally noise canceling again! The previous headphones only had “NC on” and “NC off” modes. The new one offers three modes: NC, “Normal” and Transparency Mode. I understand straight away what noise canceling is, and Transparency Mode, letting outside noise through, makes sense to me straight away. However, as in many other areas of life, I find it difficult to understand what is meant by the third mode, “Normal”. But what’s normal when you can have NC.
(My fault)
