The plant in Miajadas has a capacity of two megawatts and can generate around two gigawatt hours of renewable natural gas annually. According to the company, which was founded in 2022, a key advantage of the system is its high level of flexibility: it can be started up or shut down quickly and is therefore particularly suitable for power supply from wind power and photovoltaic systems.
There is a great need for the climate-neutral and reliable energy source, especially in medium-sized industry and shipping, but also among municipal suppliers.

Turn2X plans to build a plant with an output of at least nine megawatts this year. The location will also be in Spain. This facility would definitely be the largest in the world.
