The Microsoft Phone Link app was only available for Android phones in the past. It is extremely inconvenient for iPhone users using Windows 11. Microsoft previously stated that it would add support for the iOS version, and Microsoft also fulfilled its promise on Monday (15th).
Microsoft announced that Phone Link now supports iPhone users, allowing them to connect to Windows 11 PCs and send and receive information through iMessage, make and receive calls, and view any phone application notifications on a PC or laptop.
Phone Link is now available in 85 countries and works with iPhone via Bluetooth. Microsoft can send messages via iMessage on Phone Link, intercept incoming messages via Bluetooth, and send messages in the same way that Apple forces local users to send text messages to other iPhone users.

When Phone Link is turned on, iPhone users can freely send and receive messages, but cannot see full chat history or participate in iMessage group conversations. Compared with Android system integration, other functions of Phone Link are quite basic.
While iPhone users can make and receive calls, view call history or dismiss call notifications, they can’t run phone apps on a computer like Android devices, and there’s no photo integration.
The latest version of Phone Link will automatically update the application. If you do not see the new iPhone option during the setup process, you can go to the Microsoft Store application in Windows 11 to ensure that it is updated to the latest version.
