Nothing today announced Phone (2), its highly anticipated second generation flagship smartphone.

In the panorama of technological devices, Nothing Phone (2) stands out for its evident improvements. Particularly notable is the LED strip system, known as ‘Glyph’, which now features an enriched design with further breaks, offering a wider range of functionality. In addition, the rear glass now has a slight curve at the edges, adding a touch of elegance to the device.

But the novelties do not stop only at the aesthetic aspect. The new Nothing Phone (2) also boasts a slimmer frame, made from 100% recycled aluminum. Its dimensions, equal to 162.1 x 76.4 x 8.6 mm, make this smartphone comfortable to hold, despite the weight of 201.2 grams. In addition, the IP54 certification guarantees its resistance to water and dust. In its continuous search for improvement, Nothing has also optimized the internal components to minimize the spaces between them.

Going deeper into the Glyph system, we can see that the central LED strip, previously unique to the Nothing Phone (1), it is now divided into six distinct parts. Also, the section surrounding the cameras has been split in two. This means the Nothing Phone (2) vanta ben 33 zone LED independent, which can be lit rhythmically through the lighting interface in the settings or using the Glyph Composer app. The latter allows you to create personalized ringtones, synchronized with the lighting of the LEDs, using personalized sound sequences.

Another noteworthy feature is the Essential Notifications function, which allows you to assign a portion of the LEDs to specific app notifications. In this way, the user can immediately identify the origin of the notifications received. Additionally, the Glyph system can also be integrated with third-party applications, providing an even more personalized experience.

HDR10+ and SGS Low Blue Light support enable more immersive viewing, while HDR peak brightness of 1600 nits (1000 outdoors) ensures perfect readability even in bright environments. Furthermore, the adaptive variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz and the touch sampling rate of 240Hz contribute to an unprecedented smoothness of use.

Turning to the hardware sector, as widely anticipated, Nothing Phone (2) is equipped with the processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, manufactured by TSMC with an advanced 4nm manufacturing process. The Adreno 730 GPU offers top-notch graphics performance. This SoC is joined by a second generation HTP V69 4xHVX processor, completing a powerful combination of components. When it comes to memory, there are three options: 8GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, 12GB of RAM with 256GB of storage, or 12GB of RAM with 512GB of storage.
