New Multiplayer Survival RPG “V Rising” to be Released for Free in Cooperation with Konami Digital Entertainment

Sweden’s Stunlock Studios has announced a partnership with Konami Digital Entertainment to release their multiplayer survival RPG “V Rising” for free on May 8. The game, which has been in early access since June 2022, has garnered rave reviews and is set in the “Valdoran Continent” where humans, monsters, and the Night Clan coexist.

The game follows the story of a protagonist who is on the brink of extinction at the hands of humans and must rise up as a vampire to become the strongest night tribe on the continent. The official release version 1.0 will include a new late-game area, “Mortim Ruins,” new weapons, enemies, bosses, dynamic events, and more. The game will also be available on the PS5 platform in 2024.

Stunlock Studios expressed their excitement about the collaboration with Konami, citing their love for the “Castlevania” series. The game will feature a crossover with “Castlevania” where the iconic protagonist Simon Belmondo will appear as an enemy to the Night Tribe. Defeating him will unlock a new weapon, the whip. Additionally, a paid appearance DLC titled “Castlevania Legends Premium Pack” will be available, featuring castle decorations, ghost skeleton mounts, character customization options, and more.

“Rise of the Night Tribe” is set to officially launch on May 8 alongside the “Castlevania Legends” DLC, offering players an immersive and thrilling gaming experience with a touch of nostalgia.
