It is a unique experience of its kind, which immediately attracted the attention of many adventurers. Despite some setbacks, the voyage is now officially scheduled, with the company choosing a larger ship, the MV Lara, which will sail on November 1st.
Built in 2003, the vessel boasts 627 cabins with enough space to accommodate 1,266 passengers. However, for this trip, only 532 of these cabins will be occupied, so that the ship doesn’t get too crowded. On board, passengers will have access to a swimming pool, gym, spa and other facilities; the ship will also host activities such as dance lessons and film screenings.
Over the three years, passengers will have the opportunity to visit many places, including the Colosseum in Rome, the Taj Mahal in India, the Great Wall of China and Machu Picchu in Peru. Despite the logistical and financial difficulties, bookings remain high, with almost 40% of the rooms already sold.
