The influencer claimed to be afraid after her mother, Aída Merlano, called her on her cell phone to give her a warning.
“What was a military checkpoint doing right at the entrance to my house if they didn’t give me an arrest warrant? After being found guilty of participating in the escape of her mother, former congresswoman Aída Merlano, the Superior Court of Bogotá increased Aída Victoria’s sentence to 13 years and 8 months and, in addition, revoked her house arrest.
The young woman was found guilty of the crimes of facilitating the escape of prisoners and instrumentalizing minors to commit crimes.
“We are breathing and as long as there is life there is hope. Obviously, we are going to fight because everything that is happening is unfair,” Aída Victoria said in her Instagram stories.
