This new service, called A4 Solar, has the main objective of offering a solution to electricity rates, which have experienced an increase due to costs at the national level, especially in the Caribbean region.
“Of the users who apply, we will select homes that meet the technical and commercial criteria established by the company, and they will enjoy an installation of solar panels designed by our team according to their specific consumption,” the company indicates in a statement. press.
The company assured that each installation will be carried out considering the particular conditions of each home to guarantee efficiency and optimal integration with the existing infrastructure.
The company also announced gradual expansion plans to increase installation capacity and offer this service to a greater number of homes. Regarding costs, Triple A specified that this new service will help stabilize energy consumption prices in a competitive manner. Billing for feasibility, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance will be included in the Triple A invoice.
The program began last year with two houses in the Villa Carolina neighborhood.

To be eligible for this program, homes must meet certain requirements, such as having a roof with the capacity to support the installation of panels, owning the property, having Triple A invoice ownership and having a good payment history.

Tax will only be for companies
It should be remembered that this news is generated just when the District Council recently approved a modification to the Tax Statute, aimed at large companies, to allocate the tax for self-generation of clean energy.
This modification exempts self-generation, cogeneration and Energy Communities from Non-Conventional Sources of Renewable Energy from the obligation of this tax, as long as the maximum installed capacity per user does not exceed 1 MW (1,000 kVA).
