Chef Andrea Zamperoni killed in New York, escort Angelina Barini sentenced to 30 years: mix of drugs to rob him

Angelina Barini43, the Canadian escort accused of causing the death by poisoning of Cipriani Dolci’s chef from Lodi in New York, Andrea Zamperoni33 – found dead on August 21, 2019 in a Queens motel – was sentenced by the Brooklyn District Court to 30 years in prison.

The woman allegedly used a narcotic cocktail, including the powerful opioid fentanyl. The sentence was pronounced overnight by Judge Brian Cogan.

Legal sources confirmed this.

The prosecution had reconstructed that Barini had drugged the young chef from Casalpusterlengo to rob him, using a cocktail of drugs based on Fentanyl – a powerful synthetic opioid analgesic, responsible in the US for a real massacre – but the mix was so powerful who had killed him.

Zamperoni had been found dead on the first floor of Kamway Lodge, a hostel in Queens a few blocks from his home, poorly attended and known by the police for his drug and prostitution tours. Barini was in the room with the body when the police knocked on the door, on the night of August 21, in search of the chef who had been missing for a few days. The complaint was made on August 17, after Zamperoni hadn’t made the usual weekly phone call to his mother in Italy and hadn’t turned up for work, where he was always on time.
