Covid, first case of Omicron in the United States. Fauci: “He was vaccinated but he didn’t have the booster”

US authorities have identified the first case of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus in the country, to be exact in California. The case was confirmed by health authorities and White House medical adviser Anthony Fauci. It is a person who recently traveled from South Africa and who has manifested “mild symptoms” explained Fauci, who added: “fully vaccinated” but “as far as I know, he had not yet received the third booster dose”. He was back on November 22nd and tested positive on November 29th. Fauci then added that the “travel ban is a temporary measure”.
