BERLIN – Political thriller in Prague after the parliamentary elections of 8 and 9 October last missed by the outgoing premier, the populist tycoon Andrej Babis, to the advantage of two pro-Western and pro-European coalitions. The thriller consists in the fact that the Czech police have opened an investigation to find out, their spokespersons say, if the signature affixed to the hospital by the president Milos Zeman the convocation of the new Parliament for 8 November is true or whether it has been falsified.
