Jakarta (ANTARA) – Dewa United was forced to share points when they hosted Barito Putera after the match ended with a score of 2-2 in Week 24 of the Indonesian League 1 at the Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang, Tuesday.

In this match, Dewa United’s goals came from executing penalties from Risto Mitrevski and Alex Martins, while Barito Putera came through Natanael Siringoringo and Gustavo Tocantins, according to Indonesian League records.

This result means that Dewa United is still stuck in 11th place in the Indonesian League 1 standings with 31 points from 24 matches, while Barito Putera is in 7th place with 33 points.

Dewa United immediately took the initiative to attack in this match and got a chance through Risto Mitrevski’s header which still bounced from Barito Putera’s goal.

The South Tangerang Warriors had the opportunity to take the lead after Egy Maulana Vikri’s kick hit the hand of one of Barito Putera’s players in the forbidden box.

The referee’s penalty kick was maximized well by Risto Mitrevski, whose kick could not be read by Barito Putera goalkeeper Ega Rizky so the score changed to 1-0 in the 13th minute.

Five minutes later, Barito Putera was able to equalize with a kick from outside the penalty box, Nathaniel Siringoringo took advantage of Dewa United goalkeeper Sonny Stevens’ mistake so that the score was again level at 1-1.

Alex Martins, who stepped up as the executioner, successfully carried out his duties well after his shot found the Barito Putera goal so that the score changed to 2-1 in the 31st minute.

Entering the second half, precisely in the 61st minute Barito Putera was able to equalize again through a kick from striker Gustavo Tocantins who took advantage of the chaos in the Dewa United penalty box so that the score changed to 2-2.

Dewa United tried to find the winning goal, one of which was through Ricky Kambuaya’s effort, but his shot was still saved by Ega Rizky.

Furthermore, in the remaining time of the match, Dewa United tried to find the winning goal, but until the final whistle sounded the score remained 2-2.
