Borussia Dortmund host Freiburg in continuation Bundesliga. Donyell Malen was the star in Die Borussen’s 3-0 win.
Dortmund vs Freiburg took place at Signal Iduna Park, Saturday (10/2/2024) early morning WIB. The hosts appeared to attack from the first minute.
Donyell Malen spread threats in the 12th minute. He fired a shot from inside the penalty box, but the ball was blocked by the Freiburg goalkeeper.

Dortmund finally scored a goal in the 16th minute. Malen received a pass from Niclas Fuellkrug in the penalty box and immediately fired a shot to direct the ball into the goalkeeper’s top left corner. 1-0 Dortmund leads.
Freiburg spread threats in the 20th minute. Michael Gregoritsch greeted the ball with a header, but the goalkeeper still saw the direction.
Dortmund led 2-0 in first half injury time. Malen put his name on the scoreboard again after completing Fuellkrug’s assist.
Fuellkrug almost increased Dortmund’s lead in the 52nd minute. At close range, the goalkeeper could still block the shot.
Malen is really troublesome for Freiburg. He almost scored another goal in the 70th minute.
It was Fuellkrug’s turn to contribute a goal for Dortmund in the 87th minute. His headed goal brought Dortmund to close the match with a 3-0 win.
This result means Dortmund is temporarily able to secure fourth position with 40 points. Freiburg is seventh with 28 points.
