The Spaniards took the lead in the 12th minute thanks to a penalty from Rodri. Olmo increased it to 2-0 after 36 minutes before Rodrygo reduced the score before half-time in his employer’s stadium (40′).
After the break, Endrick, a future Real player, made it 2-2 for Brazil (50th). Shortly before the end, Spain was awarded another penalty. Rodri stays cool again (87th).
The “Furia Roja” is heading towards victory at this moment. But Paqueta forces a draw (90+7).
France wins, Portugal loses
Austria’s EURO opponents France beat Chile 3-2. Thanks to a Nunez goal, France are behind after six minutes. Fofana (19th), Kolo Muani (25th) and Giroud (72nd) turn the game around. Osorio (82nd) can only shorten the score. The other group opponents, the Netherlands, lost 1-2 in Frankfurt against the DFB-Elf (match report >>>).
The 2016 European champions, Portugal, surprisingly lost 2-0 in Slovenia, the goals were scored by Cerin (72nd) and Elsnik (80th). Jon Gorenc-Stankovic from Sturm Graz came on as a substitute for the Slovenians in the 87th minute.
