Elections in France: Macron loses the majority. Le Pen in front of Mélenchon

PARIS – “Ungovernable” is the first page of the Parisien in the aftermath of the laws that give France a parliament that has never been so divided. At the end of a suspenseful night Emmanuel Macron it closed with 245 seats, far below the 289 seats needed to have an absolute majority at the Assemblée Nationale.
