There were three replays in the FA Cup this Tuesday. Among other things, Southampton played at home against Watford FC. Things also got tough between Plymouth and Leeds.

FA Cup: Coventry clearly against Sheffield

Three games took place this Tuesday evening FA-Cup instead of. Among others, Coventry City was in action. Against Sheffield Wednesday there was a first half that was relatively even. After that, Coventry pulled away, with Haji Wright, formerly of Schalke 04, scoring among others. In the end, Coventry was able to celebrate a confident victory, the final score was 4-1.

Southampton FC also wanted to move into the next round, but it wasn’t easy against Watford. After a goalless first half, it was Sekou Mara who gave the team a quick two-goal lead with his brace. He thus partially decided the game, Che Adams scored the goal to make it 3-0.

A real cup fight developed between Plymouth and Leeds, which also went into extra time. Crysencio Summerville gave Leeds the lead here before Georginio Rutter made it 3-1 with his goal. In the end, Leeds won 4-1 and are also in the next round.
