Greece, 5.2 earthquake off Crete

An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was recorded off the island of Crete and was felt, as well as in Crete, also in the islands of Karpathos, Kassos, Rhodes and Santorini. At the moment there is no news of victims or damages. The quake was recorded at 5.15pm local time, at a depth of 9 kilometers, reports the Athens Institute of Geodynamics.

Another earthquake, of magnitude 4, also struck at 6.14 pm west of Athens, reports the same Institute, specifying that in this case the epicenter was identified at a depth of 16.4 kilometers.
