BAKHMUT – They call it the Ukrainian Stalingrad. Even with due proportions, after five months of bombs and thousands of corpses in the mud, pull over Bakhmut to the most dramatic battle of the Second World War (2 million losses, including dead, wounded and missing) makes sense. The war waged by Putin here was made of friction and trenches.
