The night of the last day of Ramadhan Idulfitri usually enlivened with torchlight parades and other takbir activities. But does this mean it is permissible to have sex on takbiran nights?
In fact, there is no reason to strictly prohibit intimate relations on the eve of Hari Raya.
Al-Baqarah 2:187
It is permissible for you on the night of fasting to have sexual intercourse with your wives. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. God knows that you used to circumcise the nose. He remained silent, but He turned to you and pardoned you. So give good news to them and seek what Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until it becomes clear to you. The white thread of the black thread of dawn. Quoting Nu Online, it is prohibited to have intimate relations on the eve of Eid and the eve of the month of Ramadan if the wife is menstruating.
So when is the right time for husband and wife to have sex?
It is recommended for husband and wife to find the right time if they want to have sex. Quoting from the book Marriage Gifts compiled by the Indonesian Ministry of Religion, Rasulullah SAW advised husbands and wives not to forget to carry out husband and wife relations on Friday days or nights.
This is confirmed in the hadith that Rasulullah SAW said:
Whoever takes a bath on Friday, he did the ritual bath of ritual impurity and then goes, it is as if he sacrificed a camel, and whoever goes in the second hour, it is as if he sacrificed a cow. And whoever goes at the third hour, it is as if he has sacrificed a horned ram. And whoever goes at the fourth hour, it is as if he has sacrificed a hen. And whoever goes at the next hour, Yesterday, it was as if he had neared an egg. When the imam came out, the angels were present, listening to the remembrance. (Narrated by Al-Bukhari, a teacher, and others)
Meaning: “Whoever bathes janabah on Friday, then goes to perform Friday prayers, as if he had sacrificed a camel. Whoever goes to perform Friday prayers on the second day, it is as if he had sacrificed a cow. Whoever goes on the third time, as if -will himself sacrifice a sheep.”
“Whoever goes at the fourth time, it is as if he were sacrificing a chicken. Meanwhile, whoever goes at the fifth time, is as if he were sacrificing an egg. But if the preacher has come out and delivered his sermon, then the angels [pencatat amal] sit and listen to the sermon being delivered.” (HR. Bukhari Muslim)
The hadith generally talks about hastening to perform Friday prayers. However, there is another side regarding the janabah bath.
