Even though crossing the river did not dampen the enthusiasm of Madang Suku II Police Chief Iptu Syahirul Alim to check the 2024 Election Voting Places (TPS).
Madang Suku II Police, East OKU Police are also ready to oversee logistics distribution and security so that the election runs smoothly. The TPS where access requires crossing the river by boat are two TPS in Karang Negara Village, Madang Suku II District.
“Of the total number of TPS in Madang Suku II District, only two TPS have access across the river,” said East OKU Police Chief AKBP Dwi Agung Setyono, SIK, MH, through Madang Suku II Police Chief Iptu Syahirul Alim S.Psi.
Not only reviewing the location, the Sector Police Chief also coordinated with the village head and village officials. “We have agreed that we will continue to coordinate so that the distribution of logistics and election security runs well,” he said.
Apart from inspecting several polling stations, the Sector Police Chief is also increasingly carrying out routine patrols in his area to create a safe, comfortable, peaceful and cool security and social security atmosphere. “God willing, until the democratic party and afterward our jurisdiction will be conducive,” he said.
