Migrants, the betrayal of Europe: only 97 of the 50,000 landed in Italy were redistributed

The 847s who landed in Trapani on Sunday from the Sea-eye will all remain in Italy. And so are the 306s of the Ocean Viking and, apart from Tunisians, the vast majority of the 57,833 migrants who have landed on the Italian coasts since January. Europe has turned its back on Italy, archiving the blank page of solidarity on which, timidly, in Malta in September 2019 five countries had begun to write two- or one-digit numbers.
