Penumbral Lunar Eclipse will occur on March 25 2024. According to a report by the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), this phenomenon can be observed directly from several regions in Indonesia.

According to the BMKG report, only observers in eastern Indonesia can observe the process of the Penumbral Lunar Eclipse from start to finish on March 25 2024. The location is at Papua, West Papua and parts of Maluku.

Observers in other parts of Indonesia will not observe all phases of the eclipse. The locations are in North Maluku, parts of Maluku, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Central Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, South Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, NTT, NTB, Bali, North Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, West Kalimantan, East Java, Central Java, DI Yogyakarta, West Java, DKI Jakarta, Banten, Lampung, South Sumatra, Bengkulu, Bangka Belitung, Jambi, West Sumatra, Riau, Riau Islands, North Sumatra and Aceh. This is because the Moon was still below the horizon when the event occurred.
