Piantedosi on the EU Pact for asylum and migrants: “Reform doomed to fail”. Poland says no to the 22,000 euro “penalty”

BRUXELLES – “The position we intend to take today is certainly a position of responsibility, but one of responsibility that we must also have towards Italian citizens and also towards all European citizens to whom we cannot propose a reform that would in fact be destined to fail. So in terms in which the latest negotiating proposals were presented to us, we believe that in short, there are still many things to do”.
