(Vatican News Network)Pope Francis visited Slovakia for the second day on September 13. At around 6 o’clock that evening, he met with the Speaker of the Slovak Republic, Boris Kollár, and Prime Minister Eduard Heger, and their families, who came to pay his respects at the Embassy of the Holy See.
In the afternoon, before heading to the Bethlehem Center, the Pope also met with the retired Archbishop of Trnava, Róbert Bezák, and his family with him.
Similarly, before the Pope met with the Jewish community, Cardinal Palolin, Secretary of State of the Holy See, Archbishop Gallagher, Secretary-General of the Department of State and State Relations of the Holy See, and Archbishop Peña Parra, Deputy Secretary of State, were there. The government building met with the Prime Minister of Slovakia. The entire meeting lasted about 45 minutes.
