“Punk Rock Tribute Show” It will be a tribute concert inspired by the nostalgia of the punk rock and melodic hardcore scene of a few years of maximum splendor of both genres. But it will not be starring a traditional tribute band, but rather they will be members of many local bands from those days who will combine to perform a repertoire full of classics to sing at the top of their voices. They will be musicians from bands like Sad Man Said (Angel Mangado)Of the Death of Love (by him)Carmelita (Patrick Kilbride)La La Love You, Early Flights (Carlos Romo)Pictures Of Shorelines o Everlyn (Karol Arribas), in addition to Bely Basartewhich will shape an alternative supergroup that will dare to play with a long list of classic bands that marked our lives.
In the repertoire there will be covers of Bad Religion, Misfits, Green Day, NOFX, The Offspring, Rancid, blink-182, Lagwagon, AFI, Millencolin, Ramones, Satanic Surfers, No Use For A Name, Pennywise, Good Riddance and more.
Will this be Thursday, January 25, starting at 9 p.m. in the Moby Dick Club room.
