Hollywood actress Rebel Wilson (“Pitch Perfect”) took her time with her first sexual experiences and, according to her own statements, wants to take the pressure off others by being open about her personal experiences.

Wilson: Wanted to avoid conversations about sex
“It’s okay to wait until you’re ready or to wait until you’re a little more mature,” Wilson said in an interview with People. “And I think that could be a positive message. Of course you don’t have to wait until you’re in your thirties like me, but you shouldn’t let yourself be put under pressure as a young person,” says the now 44-year-old actress.
The matter used to be very embarrassing for her, says Wilson. “One time I told my best friend, ‘Oh, yeah, I did it when I was 23, just to get it over with. Just to avoid questions.’ She also always tried to avoid the topic. “Usually when a conversation like that happened, I just left the room,” says Wilson. “People thought even 24 was too late. And I was sitting there thinking, ‘Oh my God, I’m 35. I’m going to look like the biggest loser.'”
If she were that age today, Wilson believes her experiences would have been different. “If I had been born 20 years later, I probably would have explored my sexuality more. I just knew at the time that I was attracted to men, that was normal,” she remembers.
“When I started to open up more after my father died and realized that I thought marriage was a terrible thing and a waste of time, I started to open up,” Wilson said. “And then, just years later, I met women and had feelings for a woman, and that, I think, is just a sign of where society was at.”
“Thought I was a strict mother”
Today Wilson is a fashion designer Ramon Agrum engaged, with whom she has a daughter named Royce raises. Wilson announced in November 2022 that the girl was born with the help of a surrogate mother. According to Wilson, she is smitten with her little daughter. “I’m blown away by how much she melts my heart,” she agreed People about the one-year-old. 16-month-old Royce’s new favorite word is “mommy,” Wilson explained. “And that was her first word ever.
