According to RT, Gazprom and China’s state-owned aviation fuel operator conducted long negotiations on abandoning the use of U.S. dollars for settlement, and finally reached this agreement.

Djukov also mentioned that Gazprom and Chinese operators plan to double the total amount of aircraft refueling between China and Russia to about 250,000 tons by 2025. According to reports, in the first half of 2021, the total fuel capacity of Gazprom’s aircraft gas stations in China increased to 56,500 tons, a year-on-year increase of 12% and a year-on-year increase of 29%.
