Just a day before the New York subway shooting, US President Biden announced new regulations on April 11 to strictly control gun parts to combat “ghost guns”. However, the provision has been criticized by some Second Amendment supporters as “unconstitutional”.

Chen Yanling, an education expert, reflected on the lesson from the recent shooting case, “The right to gun is a human right granted by God. President Chen told The Epoch Times: The Chinatown Chamber of Commerce also donated electronic alarms to the elderly and sirens to shops. A total of more than 1,000 alarm devices were distributed, and the effect was very obvious. The Chamber also distributes pepper spray to trained merchants. Now Chinatown has online training every month, and there are police officers to explain.
Chen Xipeng said that with the enhanced patrols of the Oakland Police Department and the full assistance of the Blue Angels Patrol, Oakland Chinatown has become the safest place in Oakland.
Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf sent commissioners to present the Blue Angels with oak badges in recognition of their contributions.
