The EU accuses Hungary: “It is not democratic”. Lega and Fdi vote for Orbán

BERLIN – Hungary “can no longer be considered a democracy”. The European Parliament yesterday voted on a report that renames the country of the longest-serving European premier “electoral autocracy”, Viktor Orbán. It is the first time in history. And the Strasbourg plenary asked the Commission and the Council to finally activate the atomic bomb of sanctions against a Member State: Article 7 which would take away the right to vote in Budapest.
