The tornado emergency that has devastated the United States in recent days is not over. Strong gusts of wind and tornadoes are blowing again in the area in the center of the country. In Missouri, the control tower of the Kansas City airport was temporarily evacuated due to strong winds of up to 160 kilometers per hour. The National Weather Service then warned Mississippi of tornadoes and severe storms forming in the area.
Thousands of people are already without electricity in various states. The new weather alert follows tornadoes that hit six US states last weekend, mostly hitting Kentucky, causing over 80 deaths and major damage.

More than a hundred people are still missing. “I promise you, the federal government will stay involved until everything is rebuilt, not just here, but specifically here,” Biden said.
