Aschersleben/Seeland/MZ – For more than 100 years, Women’s Day has been celebrated on March 8th, when women’s rights and equality come into focus. Cheers to the ladies are also in Aschersleben and Seeland.
Where people celebrate on Friday:
The city of Aschersleben’s big Women’s Day event begins on Friday, March 8th at 2 p.m. in the Bestehornhaus: with fun, dancing and good entertainment. In addition to the performance by the dance group from Pfeilergraben Elementary School, there will also be the cabaret program “Lisbeth Koslowski – Seniors Never Have Time” with Josefine Lemke. Tickets are available at the city’s citizens’ office.
Men’s free zone
Aschersleben’s biggest women’s day party promises to be a little wilder in the Alte Hobelei, where you can dance on Friday from 7 p.m., and there will be a strip show and a raffle. According to the organizers, there will even be a “men-free zone” until 10:30 p.m. The men are only allowed to join in the celebration afterwards – and are also welcome to buy the women a drink. Tickets are available at the E-Center and the tourist information center.
There is also a big Women’s Day party in Seeland on Friday: in the community center in Gatersleben. The event agency “Sabrina” – known from the parties on the “Arche Noah” lakeside terrace – talks about exuberant DJ music, a surprise show and of course a welcome champagne. Tickets are available in advance on 0177/2 32 29 69 and at the box office.
Women’s Day also in Hoym
Women’s Day also has a lot of fun in the Hoymer community center KUF24. From 7 p.m. a dance evening and a cabaret event await the ladies. This year Dagmar Gelbke and Wolfgang Flieder are coming with the program “Big Helga – A little human child”. This will be a tribute to the legendary East German entertainer Helga Hahnemann. Tickets for the cabaret evening in Hoym can be ordered by calling 0173/6 36 95 17.
