After Partizan lost painfully against Olimpiakos, losing a 13-point lead in the last quarter, coach Željko Obradović held one of the shortest press conferences. Asked if the reservists failed, “Žoc” somewhat agreed, although he also had something to add. “It is true that the starters did not have help from the bench, but we lost due to catastrophic mistakes, decisions after which they ran us over and every time they had easy points. It was not a question of energy drop, but stupidly lost balls in that period. If you lead by 13 points before the last quarter, that’s a huge advantage, you have to play smart and continue to punish the defense in the same way, and we didn’t do that.”
Will they continue to use Bruno Caboclo and Frank Kaminski in tandem? “Caboclo didn’t position itself well, when you have a (height) advantage throughout the game, and they played with four small players, which is why we had a big advantage in rebounds. And when we missed, we had an offensive rebound and we didn’t materialize it. And it will certainly be one of the variants that Kaboklo and Kaminski play together. We’ll see how it will look.”

When there were no more questions, Obradović himself added one thing: “Of course, I always have to say what is very important, that is the support of these people. Thank them once again, the fantastic atmosphere, they are the most loyal, they believe in us and I thank them for that most honestly, we don’t repay them in the right way”.
