Rat poison is the key to the prosecutor’s office to frame Alessandro Impagnatiello. And to demonstrate that he had premeditated the murder of Giulia Tramontano for at least a few days. And then there’s the internet searches. Not the ones made the night of the murder to find out if burning the body in the bathtub would hurt her. But others, which date back to the previous days and concern the rat poison and its effects. During the last inspection in Senago in via Novella 14/A, the carabinieri seized a pack. And then there’s the matter of the cameras: Impagnetiello and his mother Sabrina Paulis asked for their location in some bars in the area. But the element, given the presence of the mother, could be ambivalent.

In fact, to imagine contesting the premeditation based on this fact, the investigators could come to hypothesize responsibility for the mother. But having simply asked for information on the cameras could instead be part of Impagnetiello’s performance in the days immediately following the crime. Which could have been carried out before the crime, even if on the same day. And not after.
The point on which everything revolves is the day of the transport of Tramontano’s body in the cavity of a local garage in via Monte Rosa, 600 meters from the house of the crime. He claims to have done it in the night between Wednesday and Thursday. That is the day before the confession. But Tuesday morning his Volkswagen T-Roc was parked in front of the house and already smelled fresh. A few hours earlier the car was in the basement. The cleaner noticed some traces of ash when the car was moved.
The rat poison
The key element, however, is the rat poison. Along with web searches it could set up premeditation. The investigators coordinated by the prosecutor Alessia Menegazzo are working on this hypothesis. Which the investigating judge Minerva excluded in his first order, in which he considered he did not even have to contest the aggravating circumstance of cruelty. While he himself told the judge that he had killed Giulia Tramontano “without a reason”. However, Impgnatiello searched for some precise words on the Internet: “rat poison to man”. Or the effects of rat poison on humans. At this point, it’s the assumption, to know how much it took to kill.
The luminol then revealed more traces of blood, darker in color, in the bathtub. The investigators focus on the shoe prints to find the alleged accomplice. Meanwhile, he writes The print, a roll of cling film has popped out of a kitchen cabinet. It would always be used in an attempt to dispose of the body. Among other bottles there was also a bottle of petrol. But still closed. On the walls of the box there are still the signs of the second attempt to burn Giulia.
The filthy
Confirmations have thus arrived of his criminal profile which, in investigative and prosecutorial circles, is defined as a “manipulative narcissist”. A person who, according to what has been ascertained, in any case managed to “stage a suicide”. Making believe that the girl had left and then killed herself. A reconstruction that goes hand in hand with that of his colleagues, who called him “the filthy” at work. Investigations could lead to understanding the exact time and place of the murder, if he reacted and tried to defend himself, and how many stab wounds were inflicted.

Finally, other evidence is being sought in support of premeditation and cruelty, aggravating factors which are solid for the prosecutor’s office but which the investigating judge has excluded. Aggravating factors on which even the Tramontano family, as explained by the lawyer Giovanni Cacciapuoti, “wants to see clearly”.
