Bitpanda expands its offering in Germany with four new ETNs on Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot e Solana. Bitpanda’s Crypto Trackers enable both retail and institutional investors to gain secure exposure to native Ethereum, Cardano, Polkadot and Solana tokens, without the need to open a crypto wallet.

Bitpanda Crypto Trackers are fully collateralised exchange-traded notes (ETNs) traded in euros that track the performance of the underlying cryptocurrency. Given the nature of these products, investors can take a position on the underlying asset by relying on their usual investment partner. They are available to all types of investors through their bank or broker, which is why there is no need to manage public and private keys or open a crypto wallet. Furthermore, the Bitpanda Crypto Trackers ensure collateralisation with digital assets stored in “cold storage” at a regulated depository on behalf of the investor. The new solutions are available with an annual management fee of 1.49%. The first solution to Bitpanda’s ETN offering – the Bitpanda Bitcoin ETC – was introduced in December 2021 as a purely European product and the first with the euro as the base currency. Investors of the Bitpanda Bitcoin ETN can now benefit from a reduction in annual management fees from 2% to 0.99% until 30 September 2022.

With this novelty, Austrian fintech expands investment opportunities for the European digital asset market. “Creating new ways to diversify the portfolio is the main motivation that pushed Bitpanda to enter the world of exchange-traded products. Those who choose traditional investment solutions must also be able to invest in cryptocurrencies, in a simple, safe and problem-free way, through the channels already known – he explained Eric Demuth, co-founder e CEO di Bitpanda – We are excited to be able to issue new ETNs that will initially be listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. By continuing to list Bitpanda Crypto Trackers on new exchanges, we will enable a growing number of traditional investors to participate in the evolution of an industry that is shaping the future of finance. “
