The era of the Mediterranean “twin” ships has begun. This was confirmed by the first voyage of the second arrival in the Moby home: the Legacy, sister ship of the Fantasy which made its first voyage to Livorno Olbia, disembarking in the Gallura port on Sunday morning.

The Moby Legacy arrived in Livorno on January 28th after a journey that began on December 27th with departure from the Chinese shipyard of Guangzhou Shipyard towards Livorno and after sailing across three oceans and rounding the Cape of Good Hope.

The maiden voyage

Then the maiden voyage from the port of Livorno to Sardinia, following a particularly busy route during the summer period but guaranteed all year round.

The numbers speak of realities as large as a floating country of three thousand inhabitants. Each vessel measures 237 meters long by 33 meters wide and has a gross tonnage of 69,500 tons. And then 3 thousand passengers, 441 cabins, 400 seats and 3,800 linear meters of rolling load equal to 1300 cars or 300 trucks.
