Tesla: Hertz responds after Elon Musk’s confusing tweet

Hertz retorts to Elon Musk, Tesla’s number one who, in a tweet that has confused investors not a little, surprisingly reported that Tesla has not yet signed any contract for the delivery of 100,000 vehicles to Hertz by 2022. News, this one, which had been released by the same car rental company last week, immediately triggering the buy on Tesla.

In fact, on October 25, Hertz said it had sent Tesla an order for the delivery of 100,000 Model 3 cars by the end of 2022.

In spite of Musk’s tweet, Hertz confirmed today what he said days ago: “As announced last week, Hertz has placed an initial order for 100,000 Tesla electric vehicles (..) Tesla’s deliveries have already begun. very strong initial demand for Tesla models in our rental cars, reflecting the market demand for Tesla vehicles. ”
