2024 Hong Kong Chinese Arts International Culture and Arts Festival “Light of Chinese Arts” Held in Hong Kong

The 2024 Hong Kong Chinese Arts International Culture and Arts Festival recently took place in Yili, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, showcasing the “Light of Chinese Arts” art exhibition series. The event, held at Sabah Stadium and Hong Kong Chu Hai College, was a resounding success, attracting art enthusiasts from all over.

Co-organized by the Asia Youth Association of Hong Kong, the Beijing Performance and Entertainment Industry Association, and the China Culture and Art Development Promotion Association, among others, the festival was made possible thanks to the funding from the China Literary and Art Foundation’s Special Fund for the Development of Top Young Art Talents. The China Culture and Art Development Promotion Association provided crucial support for the event.

One of the highlights of the festival was the “Top Elite” performance activities and the “Honorary List of Young Art Talents” selection. After a rigorous selection process, talented individuals from various art categories were recognized and awarded for their outstanding contributions. Notable recipients included dancers, singers, and performers such as Liu Yan, Xiahou Jinxu, Wang Xin, Marie Cho, and many others.

The festival also featured performances by the Latin Group of Light of China Arts, the Modern Group, and the Star of China Arts Latin Group, with exceptional dancers receiving the prestigious “Bauhinia Cup” award. Additionally, honorary certificates were presented to individuals such as Liu Yan, who was appointed as the promotion ambassador of the 2024 Hong Kong “China Arts Festival”.

The “Light of Chinese Arts” art forum, focused on the theme of mutual learning among civilizations along the Belt and Road Initiative, included music and painting presentations, as well as discussions on various art forms. Albums such as “I Love This Land” and “Late Spring” were unveiled to commemorate the 50th anniversary of China-Austria diplomatic relations, featuring performances by singers Wang Xin and Marie Cho.

The festival also provided a platform for renowned artists, scholars, and performers to share their experiences and insights. Professors and experts, including Xue Jia and Wang Xiaoying, delivered thought-provoking speeches on topics such as Chinese drama, cross-cultural interactions, and the importance of preserving artistic traditions.

Overall, the 2024 Hong Kong Chinese Arts International Culture and Arts Festival “Light of Chinese Arts” was a celebration of creativity, talent, and cultural exchange, highlighting the vibrant and diverse arts scene in Hong Kong and beyond.
