The restart is getting stronger, in every sector, including that of cosmetics. The project of the Polyesthetic Center of Milan, which will be inaugurated in Paderno Dugnano on 6 October: a new Academy that will allow young people to take advantage of innovative training and work opportunities. The first pilot center, which will be followed by others, was wanted by Giannantonio Negretti, president of NG Group Universal who knows the world of cosmetics well, as his family has been working in this field for over 60 years.

Why an academy

Ā«I wanted to create this Center to give young people who work in beauty the opportunity to grow – explains Negretti, author of the bookā€œ La Cosmetica Umanistica ā€which tells the birth of this cultural movement -. Often they are relegated, in terms of education, to attend vocational schools, in Italy there are over 400 vocational training centers that welcome about 40 thousand students, but then it is difficult for them to access higher education. An obstacle that reflects on the future of these young people who deserve an extra chance Ā».

The pool of researchers and teachers

The Polyesthetic Center wants to fill this gap, bringing education to a higher level, in some ways comparable to high school and university education. For this purpose, a series of highly accredited researchers and teachers have been selected, including: the cosmetologist Umberto Borellini, the dermatologist Alex Gezzi, the postural ergonomist Tiziano Pacini, the naming specialist Maurizio Sangineto and Professor Alessandro Rizzi of the University of Milan, one of the world‘s leading experts in color and light.

A training center

It is a project with a psycho-socio-pedagogical and humanistic mission, which also aims to accompany the Vocational Training Centers, which will be born on the model of the Polyesthetic Center, towards a higher professional dimension. Many innovations are proposed, such as the one that sees the training spaces within the Poliestetico rethought as places of culture, art and well-being where beauty and comfort become a daily experience for students and teachers.
