Erik Van Looy (61) shared a birthday post for his ex-girlfriend Ingrid Parewijck (45) on Instagram on Friday. He calls the model “the most beautiful woman in the country.” It suggests that the presenter is no longer together with that other model, Anouck Lepère (44).

In October, Erik Van Looy admitted in The Smartest Person in the World that he was “in love”, or “early”. Shortly before, he had appeared with model Anouck Lepère at his side at the premiere of the musical Les Misérables. One plus one equals two, so it was assumed that the presenter was in a couple with the top model. He never confirmed this, but the two were seen together a few more times, including at the Sportpaleis. He told Het Laatste Nieuws in December that the situation was “complex”.
That complex situation could now be over. Van Looy shared an ode to his previous girlfriend, Ingrid Parewijck, on Friday. The two were together for five years – with a break – and split in 2022. He still thinks she is “the most beautiful woman in the country”, it now appears. Van Looy also places a romantic reference to Oscar Wilde with the photo: “A portrait must hang somewhere that will age in its place.” Parewijck turns 45 years old.
Ingrid Parewijck was – and still is – one of Flanders’ most successful international models. During her 20-year career, the Ghent native scored covers for Elle, Vogue and Photo Magazine, and worked for brands such as Christian Dior, Scapa and Ralph Lauren. She was also the face of Guerlain and coffee brand Lavazza. Anouck Lepère walked the catwalk for Victoria’s Secret and worked on advertising campaigns for Hugo Boss and Chanel. When she was 24, Lepère became the first face for Japanese cosmetics giant Shiseido. That made her one of the highest-earning models at the time.
